Biography
Born and raised in Chichester, Paul Wingham has spent most of his life living on the south coast. He performs as a solo artist all over Sussex and Surrey for any and all occasions. With his amazing voice, Paul performs popular cover versions on acoustic guitar that span many genres, and appeals to many generations. If you're looking for a wide musical selection his extensive song list is sure to please almost any crowd, young and old. Paul's vocal is a strong baritone and the passion he shows for each song shines through in each performance.Paul started his musical journey during 5 years spent living in Enfield, North London. After returning to his beloved Sussex, he started appearing at local venues and festivals, wanting to share his passion for the great music he grew up loving. Accompanied with the gorgeous tones from his classic Martin D-28 acoustic guitar he spent 6 successful years building and performing in the duo 'The Sweet Fantastic', and making guest appearances with local bands in Uckfield and around Sussex. Having settled down in Horsham, Paul created the 5 piece rock band Double Dare, and performed with them for 3 years until the end of 2017.
Now in 2024 he performs as lead singer, with Sussex party band Mojo.
